When researching my latest 'Hordes Of The Things' army project I came across a film project called 'Iron Sky', and decided that I wanted to base an image around some of the promotional material for it. And this is the result. The newspaperman (who you may recognise) is holding the film's promotional poster. You can see a teaser trailer for the film here. The accompanying song is pretty good, if rather too short.

Anyway, this is a perfect entry for today's FGR pick - The Time-Traveller's Photo Album, but in association with the StoryPeople piece I used I felt it was appropriate for TRP's Peace theme as well.

The original photo was taken in 1940, and the newspapers were announcing the German invasion of Norway.

I spent over three hours on this. I must be mad.
