            “Told Under the Magic Umbrella,” as selected by the Literature Committee of the Association for Childhood Education, MacMillan Company, 1939 copyright.  This is the fourth of a series of “Umbrella” anthologies selected by the committee as being 33 stories both “modern and fanciful” as well as childlike in the telling.  As it is still under copyright, I am including just a few of the charming illustrations by Elizabeth Orton Jones. There is one delicate drawing per story and a few scattered decorations besides.  A charming book I am keeping in anticipation of grandchildren someday.
