G-JEDX deHavilland Canada DHC Dash 8Q-201B British European BHX 01SEP01

First flown with the deHavilland Canada test registration C-FDHV, this aircraft was leased to Jersey European Airways as G-JEDX in Feb-00.  Jersey European was renamed British European in Jun-00.  It became FlyBe Airlines in Jul-02.

The aircraft was withdrawn from service and stored at Exeter, UK in Mar-04 and was returned to Bombardier Capital Inc as N541BC in May-04.  It was transferred to Bombardier Aerospace in Jun-04 and leased to Hawaii Island Air in Jul-04.

The aircraft was returned to Bombardier Capital as C-FEPA in Mar-05.  It was leased to EuroManx Airways GmbH as OE-HBB in May-05.  However, it remained parked in Toronto as The Dash 8-200 series hadn't been granted an operating certificate by Austria.

It was leased to EuroManx Airlines 2 in Aug-05.  EuroManx 2 ceased operations in May-08 and the aircraft was returned to the lessor and parked at Exeter until it was sold to Avmax International Aircraft Leasing Inc and returned to Canada as C-FSQT in Aug-08.

It was due to be leased to Sakhalin Aviation/SAT Airlines but that was cancelled and it was leased to Regional 1 Airlines (Canada) in Nov-08.  They wet-leased it to the United Nations three weeks later.

It was based at Kiev, Ukraine and returned to Regional 1 in Oct-09 when it was parked at Exeter, UK.  It was returned to Avmax as N541AV ten days later and sold to Wells Fargo Bank Northwest the same day.

It was due to be leased to 'Flightworks' for operations in Afghanistan in support of the USA!  But that didn't happen and it was leased to Berry Aviation at the end of Oct-09.  It departed Exeter 3 days later heading East (presumably to do much the same thing).

It is current and according to FR24 is still doing mostly local flying from San Marcos, TX, USA.  Updated 14-Oct-23.
