G-UKFA Fokker 100 KLM cityhopper (ex KLM uk) MAN 12APR03

            Replacing an earlier scanned photo with a slightly better version, plus Topaz DeNoise AI 28-Apr-24.

Previously with KLM uk and later re-registered PH-OFA.

A very early Fokker 100, this aircraft was first flown in Mar-89 with the Fokker test registration PH-EZB.  It was delivered to ILFC International Lease Finance Corporation and leased to Inter-Canadian Airlines as C-FICY in Apr-89.

Inter-Canadian was renamed Intair in Oct-89, the aircraft was withdrawn from service in Aug-91 and returned to the lessor as N602RP and stored at Phoenix, AZ, USA in Oct-91.

The aircraft was leased to Air UK as G-UKFA in Jul-92.  Air UK was taken over by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in Jan-98 when it was renamed KLM uk.  It was merged into KLM cityhopper in Nov-02 becoming KLM cityhopper UK.

The 'UK' didn't appear on the aircraft and it was re-registered PH-OFA n Aug-03.  The aircraft continued in service until it was permanently retired in Nov-09 when it was stored at Amsterdam.

It made its last flight on 23-Jun-10 when it ferried to Lelystad, Netherlands where it's preserved at the 'Aviodrome Museum'.  Updated 28-Apr-24.
