09-52 Flipping Life Upside Down ... - a photo on Flickriver

This shot was taken on Thursday as part of my lunchtime walk along the Riverside, to practice in-camera/no editing mono photography for Module 1 of this years PP DSLR Course. EEK - how quickly I have become used to "tweaking" ... even just the little basic things like straightening and cropping. Just in case you're wondering, yes of course this image has been tweaked and processed (this is for V52, not PP this week!).

I played around with this image in my new acquisition (Elements 10) : its going to be a long, slow learning process getting to grips with this program - and to get the best out of it I think! I have spent most of this morning watching tutorials on You-Tube ... Whilst trying to get the picture to landscape from portrait (as it was taken), I rotated too many times and discovered that I really, really liked it this way. Best viewed on black I think?

Its been a long, difficult week here and I liked the way the picture suggests something being "flipped on its head", but turning out OK - just maybe not how you had expected it to be ...
