Take Me To The River - a photo on Flickriver

            I have been experiencing a severe lack of motivation in this department as of late. I think this redundant, unnecessary and ridiculous year is simply sucking the life force out of me. 

Whatever the case, I've been searching for something that catches my eye (in this mind numbing city) so that I may photograph it. 

One night, one very cold night, I was walking from Kensington into downtown Calgary, and while walking alongside the river, I decided I would attempt some long exposure night photography. Not having a tripod severely hindered this, so I opted for a wider aperture and a faster shutter speed and just went for run of the mill night shots.
