JOTA/JOTI 2014

            Members of Te Runga & Carterton scouting groups spent the weekend together in Masterton (New Zealand) camping, playing games, singing songs & participating in the annual JOTA/JOTI event. JOTA-JOTI is the largest Scouting event in the world with nearly one million Scouts participating across 160+ countries the third weekend of October. Each year since 1958 members of scouting & guiding around the world have gathered to communicate with & learn from other members around the globe. Today this is done via amateur radio & internet services.
