Linköping Cathedral Sweden and the Crescent moon 30 Dec 2013 (DSC01522ABR)

            Distance 9,7km / 6miles, the crescent moon 6% in size  and 0,5 degree over the horizon, sun -20(night darkness), clear sky but very windy, 8-10m/s. made shooting very difficult. During this shot the wind took a break though.

The Cathedral of Linköping is the second biggest church in Sweden, and is 107m in height.

Pictures like this is more a kind of a personal technical challange for me, rather then an effort to produce a beautiful photo as such.
They often requires much planning, fieldwork and moreover a bit of luck with the weather and wind. 
Nevertheless I love taking them.
