An Orange Headed Thrush on a lovely perch

A seasonal bird to the region that migrates locally within the country. It prefers moist places where there is water and wet moist land and has a number of ground based insects. This is quite a colorful bird easy to miss in the red soil and brown leaves where it is normally found.

The bird has a nice call and sometimes its easy to hear him before sighting him. I didn't see another bird nearby and wonder if the bird moves solo. Something I need to check during this season.
