            These grizzly cubs are 2-1/2 years old and only a week removed from their mother's side.  The siblings stayed together through the summer and fall, getting into all kinds of mischief.

Even though they now have to deal with the harsh realities of being on their own, the young bears still find plenty of time for play fighting.  It looks quite ferocious at times but they seem to know just when to back off before one of them gets hurt.  These are the last few months they have to hone such skills before they may need to defend themselves for real.
