009 - a photo on Flickriver

            Every explorer needs an accomplice, mine is an L.L. Bean backpack.  Waterproof from the start, it has never let me down.  We have seen more adventures together than I can count on my fingers and toes.  It's insides hold a remedy to almost anything I might encounter while on a shoot. Just to name the more common ones, my camera, tripod, flashlight, screw driver, Leatherman, lighter, water, leather gloves, latex gloves, lock pick set, pepper spray and hand sanitizer.  Yes I have used all of them with the exception of the pepper spray thankfully. 

This trip was an absolute amazing experience.  None of it would have been possible without the help of a lot of people.  My family in the U.S. supported my decision and plans and my family in Lebanon welcomed us with great love.  My roommates were kind enough to take the responsibility of watching my pup Larry for the entire time and my employers gave me the vacation time needed.  I also had a great travel guide and friend who helped organize the entire trip. including flights and the pitstop in Turkey.  It was an unforgettable vacation and I anticipate the next will be even better.
