Birth of a New Day

            After a record number of rainy days, late yesterday the clouds began to tear away.  Especially at night during the 40+ days of rain we have received, I've thought a lot of the wild creatures.  Where are they when the rain is pounding down and the wind is blowing wildly?  What shelters them from the storms?

This morning the sun has broken through.  The flowers open to the sky, hummingbirds are once again doing their Spring mating dance, butterflies emerge, Mama Raven begs for more food to feed her young and all is well on the Mendocino Coast.

I consider myself an agnostic, but I do believe there is something that holds us all together.  I don't see this "force" personified, but as the mysterious, magical "glue" that holds the universe in place and allows us to experience this miracle called Planet Earth.
