B-25B Mitchell in Doolittle Raid - a photo on Flickriver

            The Doolittle Raid, on April 18, 1942, was an air raid by the United States on the Japanese capital Tokyo and other places on the island of Honshu during World War II. It was to demonstrate that Japan itself was vulnerable to American air attack, served as retaliation for the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, and provided an important boost to American morale. The raid was planned and led by Lieutenant Colonel James "Jimmy" Doolittle. The attack was carried out using B-25B Mitchell Bombers launched from the aircraft carrier USS Hornet.

I've been wanting to build a B-25 Mitchell for many years, after seeing Dan Siskind's Dark green one. Well, finally I've gotten around to building one. This is essentially nelsoma84's design which I reversed engineered from his photos. I've made some minor modifications to the engine and nose only.
