Parque Nacional dos Glaciares, fundado em 1937 e declarado patrimônio da humanidade em 1981. Possui extensão de 725 mil hectares. Nele se localizam os glaciares Perito Moreno, Upsala, O'nelli, Spegazzinni, entre outros. São imponentes sentinelas de neve depositados por séculos em suas origens, no alto da cordilheira dos Andes. Descem por extensões de que chegam a 170 km. São formados basicamente de neve compactada, possuindo milhares de nuances do branco ao azul. Na sua maioria, terminam no lago Argentino, onde se fragmentam desde farelo de gelo à grandes icebergs, descendo lentamente o leito do lago até seu derretimento. Os glaciares movem-se até um metro por dia, atritando-se violentamente com o terreno, moldando-o e lançando no lago sedimentos finissimos,que ficam em suspensão na água, formando o leite dos glaciares.

Glaciers National Park, established in 1937 and declared a World Heritage Site in 1981. Has extension of 725 hectares. In it are located glaciers Perito Moreno, Upsala, O'nelli, Spegazzinni, among others. They are stately sentinels of snow deposited by centuries in its origins high in the Andes. Descend extensions that reach 170 km. They are composed largely of compacted snow, possessing thousands of shades from white to blue. Mostly into Lake Argentino, which break up the ice from bran big icebergs, slowly descending the bed of the lake to its melting. Glaciers move up to a meter a day, rubbing violently with the terrain, molding and casting the very fine sediments in the lake, which are suspended in water, forming glaciers milk.
