Round Things at the Air Show - a photo on Flickriver

            I rode my motorbike down to the south coast of England last weekend and after a visit to the beach at Birling Gap (near Beachy Head) I made my way to Eastbourne. I was surprised to find that the town was absolutely rammed with people and only once I'd parked up and started walking down to the beach did I realise that there was an air show going on. Very crowded as you can imagine but interesting to see the various aircraft flying past. I didn't have a program so I don't really know what the significance of this old plane flying slightly ahead of that newer jet was. As I was lining up the camera to get a shot I realised that I had a number of round objects in the frame. Respect to the gentleman with the magnificent shaved head for keeping it unsheathed as the sun was so strong on the beach at that time of day.
