            Today, 20 March 2021, at 09.37am (Greenwich), 
spring began with the solstice - the day is as long as the night.
In all the cultures of the Northern Hemisphere, this was once the New Year's festival with its light, warmth, new flowers, grains, vegetables, budding blossoms for fruit, young branches to strengthen the huts...
[ All religions have grafted themselves in one way or another onto this feast and have done their utmost not to be like the others. ]

Here in Belgium, we still have to keep the flowers inside, the warmth is still absent, but we have the new light. Maybe some minds will become clearer and the reasoning around corona will rise again.
