France Montreuil mini & tent 8th March 1972

The first morning on French soil. We had driven from the ferry southwards on the N1 & as it got dark early we just drove off the RN onto a small road near Montreuil, found a flat area & set up camp. The mud-splattered front of the vehicle was evidence of the lousy weather that evening. The morning dawned bright & slightly warm however. We drove on via Amiens to Paris where we camped in the Bois de Boulogne.
