Edinburgh Waverley Scotland April 1971

            Another shot from Easter 1971 when I attended a wedding in Edinburgh that gave me a chance to check out Waverley station. The sun shone both on the ceremony & on this Stirling-bound diesel multiple unit passing the signal box at the east side of the station. 

I have no identifying number but could someone confirm that the unit is a Class 101?

There is a very nice line up of 1960s vehicles on the dock behind including an immaculate Mini Countryman.
