            Looking back, it was oh so strange. Driving with a stranger to meet a stranger. But it all worked out...because everything worked out, back then. 

Pretty much everyone I met on Flickr ended up being a great hang. Every long shot paid dividends. Every chance I took was rewarded.

Driving a few hours south to meet and shoot Larissa, sure, good times. Taking Laura with me, even though we'd only been shooting together for little over a month? That there was the real risk. Stuck in a car with someone for four hours...that can go real wrong, if it's the wrong someone. 

Even stranger...I didn't take any shots of her that day, beyond one of her holding my bounce...and you can really only see the bounce!

What I am struck by the most, looking through the archives, is what I thought was worthy of capturing, and how little I considered the notion that I'd forget...well, most of it!

Do it all over again, I'd get what we call in Hollywood "coverage". All the shots I don't think I need...get those, just in case. The people who helped out, the people we bumped into...Larissa's daughter. Little baby, got maybe one or two shots of her, should've gotten more. Maybe that kid would want to see 'em! Maybe Larissa would want to see 'em!

Hell, what it comes down to, I want more shots of EVERYTHING. I want to look back at every single moment, because the ones I did capture? Oh man, good vibes, all of 'em. 

But I know, there's no way to capture it all, no way to even get close. What made Larissa laugh, here? No idea...but maybe the picture's enough.
