            Hadn't seen Kevin in a good 11 years, so it warmed my heart that he thought to hit me up when he came to visit, all the way from Germany. 

I'll always be immensely grateful to the guy, he's single-handedly responsible for my ever seeing England, for the time I spent teaching portrait workshops, for expanding how I thought about photography. 

More importantly, he's a friend. Felt like, despite the decade since we'd last been in the same room together, not a second had passed. 

Except for the fact we are so much older! We caught up for hours, could've spent the whole day with him, talking about photography, getting older, getting ever-so-slightly wiser, more photography, old friends, life, man. Fucking Life. 

Was only fitting, as our initial connection was over Polaroids, that I get a good one of him. Took a few tries, but the sun was out, I knew everything was gonna be okay.
