Antirrhea taygetina - a photo on Flickriver

            We were all delighted to finally be leaving this initial coastal area and to be heading inland to a national park. We hoped there would be much more to see and photograph.
We stopped at a state park en route. In fact the trail we had wanted to walk was not allowing visitors and the one we did walk had very limited sightings though looked like good habitat. These 2 butterflies were seen on our walk in this reserve. Sadly we did not see the endemic monkey that lives in this reserve.
This is a more common species and not very exciting.
