Im Melbourne Central Shopping Centre

            Das Melbourne Central Shopping Centre ist ein riesiges Einkaufszentrum an der La Trobe Street. Unter dem Einkaufszentrum befindet sich die Melbourne Central Station.
Das beeindruckendste Merkmal des Einkaufszentrums ist der große gläserne Kegel, der sich über dem 1888 errichteten Coop's Shot Tower - einem Schrotkugelturm - wölbt. Dieser war bis 1961 in Betrieb. Als man das Einkaufszentrum errichtete, baute man es um ihn herum und bezog den Turm mit ein. Er beherbergt heute ein Museum, das sich mit der Geschichte des Turms beschäftigt. Der Turm besitzt 9 Stockwerke und kann über 327 Stufen erklommen werden.
Hier geht der Blick aus einem der Fenster des Turms hinunter auf einige alte Gebäude in der unmittelbaren Umgebung des Turmes, die ebenfalls in das Einkaufszentrum einbezogen wurden.
