Welcome To Milano Porta Nuova - a photo on Flickriver

It's been a while I wanted to go to this new area in Milan to shoot at the new modern buildings. Until last year I was in an office with a window looking at these buildings, and at sunset they reflect the colors of the sun... sometimes those glass buildings are totally pink and gray... awesome looking. :-)

Every time I brought the camera in the office colors where horrible... :-(

Yesterday sky was quite overcast, so I decided to go for some long exposures and try a new technique I recently learned about long exposures stacking... let me know what do you think about this processing. :-)

E' da parecchio tempo che volevo andare a fare foto in questa nuova zona di Milano (Porta Nuova in zona Garibaldi, quartiere Isola) in cui stanno costruendo degli edifici moderni molto particolari. Fino all'anno scorso la finestra del mio ufficio guardava proprio verso questo nuovo palazzo (se non ho capito male si tratta attualmente del più alto edificio in Italia) e spesso la sera si specchiavano i colori del tramonto creando uno spettacolo davvero molto bello. Spesso ho portato la macchina fotografica in ufficio... ma puntualmente quando la portavo il cielo era grigio... :-p

Ieri mattina prima di uscire ho visto il cielo grigio, ma con nuvole e vento... così ho deciso di portare la macchina fotografica per testare una nuova tecnica basata su "impilamento" di esposizioni lunghe (long exposures stacking)...

Mi farebbe piacere di sapere cosa ne pensate del risultato di questo scatto. Io ancora non ho un'opinione ben definita... c'è qualcosa che non mi convince del tutto...
