The Morning After

            This morning started in brilliant sunshine. It seemed the clouds had rained themselves out (400mms in 24 hours in some places in northern Tasmania). But the showers are continuing, although the real damage has already been done. The next 24 hours will see all that water washed down the river systems and lead to even more dramatic flooding. But some parts of the northern suburbs are cut off from the city in low lying areas.

Interesting the billboard advertises Spirit Super with the slogan "It starts with spirit." And that's exactly what you discover during times like these. So many spirited people willing to offer a helping hand.
