Wattled Crane - Grus carunculatus - a photo on Flickriver

            Chobe National Park, Botswana.
We have been very fortunate here in Kasane, as the arrival of this lone Wattled Crane at the end of April appears to have been a first...  In the ensuing months, it's arrival has been 'the talk of the town'...  
The crane has now moved out of the park, and seems to have taken up residence half-way between Kasane and Kazungula.  
Here's hoping he continues to hang around in our area...
