Wm. Parmelee Memorial - a photo on Flickriver

Paper mat memorial print for William Marvin Parmelee (b. 5-17-1809), who was 25 years old upon his death on 8/29/1834. The colored lithograph shows a grieving woman leaning against a monument with an urn on top. Mostly green colors. On the left bottom border reads, "Lithographed and published by J. Barllic, 118 Nassau St, N.Y.". The right bottom border has, "& by J. Sowle New Bedford Mass.
The document has a tag on the back, "Given by Mrs. Cyrus Evarts 7-21-66". The memorial document paper is heavily mottled and torn with several paper tape repairs on the back. Modern bio info is included with the artifact. Unframed, 14" x 10".
