Erastus Scranton's 1809 New Testament

Large, leather-bound 'Scott's Family Bible' inscribed by Madison's Rev. Erastus Scranton (1777-1861) (flic.kr/p/2izWn1o) on the inside cover. Titled "The New Testament of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: translated from the original Greek with original notes, and practical observations"
The book has a 1937 note inside from Cynthia Prudden Harts citing her removal of a bookworm, which damaged the last several dozen pages. A note and a dried maple leaf are tucked into the book.
Authored by Thomas Scott (1747-1821), Rector of Aston Sandford, Bucks. and printed by subscription in 1809 "by and for W.W. Woodward, No 52, South Second, the corner of Chesnut St," Philadelphia. 9 1/4" X 10 3/4" X 3 3/4". Good condition, except for minor worm damage. Found in collection. Inscribed "Erastus Scranton's No 6".
