The aircraft of Carrier Wing 8 (1978)

            With the Sea King completely rebuilt, I can now finally combine all my aircraft from Carrier Wing 8 as they appeared in 1978. At the time they flew from USS Nimitz. 

From left to right, these are an F-14A Tomcat from VF-84 'Jolly Rogers', an RA-5C Vigilante from RVAH-6 'Fleurs', an SH-3H from HS-9 'Sea Griffins', an A-6E Intruder from VA-35 'Black Panthers' and an A-7E Corsair II from VA-82 'Marauders'. 

The carrier also had squadrons operating EA-6B Prowlers, S-3A Vikings and E-2B Hawkeyes on board, but since I already have newer versions of all of those aircraft, I am unlikely to build all of them.
