Regret

            Thank Thee for giving me this moment to appreciate the beauty of this moment.
The other moments might come.
More glorious.  More wonderful.  Something You have never even imagined.
But they might overshadow this very pathetic, prosaic moment.
And one moment should never overshadow another.
That is REGRET.

It is like going for a silly excursion around somewhere.
Which was so silly You haven't seen anything.
Anything worth seeing.

What are the lessons for?
To learn how to be arrogant enough so You can throw them away?
What are the moments for?
To be judged against other moments?
Are You constantly in a State of War?

Waiting impatiently, praying and hoping, 
that your existence will be blown to pieces
as Corfe Castle was?

No such luck my friend!
Give up your false hopes
There is no Escape
And that is, indeed, Sweet Freedom!

Corfe Castle still stands
Stronger and more prosperous than ever
Defeat is not the End
Just Another Beginning
