Peaks of the South Washington Cascades Just Above the Clouds

            I learned many years ago the value of a window seat when it comes to taking in mountain views or settings with clouds and the many patterns it brings. Here I had what amounted to a sea of clouds stretching off to the horizon with this one mountain seemingly rising above as the peaks poked above that cloud layer. I later learned that with the flight path taken and my GPS that is was probably Mount Adams. I felt the orange to pink glow far off in the distance added a nice color contrast, especially with the light blue skies above.
