Bears Ears and a National Monument - a photo on Flickriver

            When I started looking into making a stop to Natural Bridges National Monument, I noted on maps that the newly established Bear Ears National Monument would be right next to where I'd be heading. Given my love and support of the national park service over the years, my opinion on certain elected officials wanting to cut back on this size of this national monument seemed...a crying shame and just outright wrong. So this image was about capturing the beauty of these two peaks and a hope for it to remain under the national park service as a complete whole...and a place I definitely want to one day visit and explore.
