Cloto Lachesi Atropo - a photo on Flickriver

            Le tre Moire in greco, Parche in latino, Nome in norreno. le tessitrici della della vita decidevano al momento della nascita il destino di ogni individuo.
Cloto reggeva il filo dei giorni per la tela della vita, Lachesi dispensava la sorte avvolgendo il filo assegnato a ciascuno, Atropo inesorabile lo tagliava quando era il momento di arrestare la vita.

The Three Deaths in Greek, Fates in Latin, Nome in Old Norse. the weavers of life decided the fate of each individual at the moment of birth.
Clotho held the thread of days for the web of life, Lachesis dispensed the lot by wrapping the thread assigned to each one, inexorable Atropos cut it when it was time to stop life.
