Kchibo KK-S500 没有中文说明书...

            Bought the Kchibo KK-S500. It must be the cheapest radio with Sync Lock.. Even though Kchibo isn't exactly famous for high quality radios the first impression isn't too bad, but I couldn't test a lot yet, since it's daytime...

I was supposed to get English instructions with it as a PDF, but I didn't ..and even the Chinese instructions had been taken out of the box :(

Pros (so far):

Sensitivity is very good on some frequencies. You can just hear Radio Ö1 International (Austria) on 13730 kHz above the noise floor (QTH North West England) with the built-in aerial. My Eton E5 can't do that!!

Cons (so far):

The speakers have too much bass, making it difficult to understand voice wehn the signal is weak, even when switching to narrow..

Pushing certain buttons will create QRM on some frequencies! What...!!!?

Buttons and the dial don't feel well made, very low pressure on a button does sometimes activate it sometimes not ...after use when you let go of the dial the frequency can go "back".. but it's not a very big problem..  It's just not as well made as the E5

I hope I will have a chance to test the Sync Lock soon :)
