            On the left, one of Samuelson's four AEC Reliances with Duple Northern Dragonfly body. This body design was developed by Burlingham prior to their acquisition by Duple. Only six were built, the other two went to Fishwick, Leyland. Quite apart from the awkward appearance of this model, it was offered only with a central entrance which by that time was rapidly falling out of fashion.

On the right, one of Rickards' Dodges. In the early Sixties Chrysler launched an attempt to enter the UK PSV market using the Dodge brand. After the specification had changed several times, in 1964 Rickards took delivery of one batch of five of the S307 model which had a Perkins engine. The body was by Strachans, who for some time had been concentrating on contracts for the Ministry of Defence. Only one other Dodge was built, an S308 demonstrator with a Leyland engine and a Weymann body.

The Dodges were regular visitors to Hampton Court for a couple of years, I don't know what happened to them after that. I don't recall encountering another of Samuelson's Dragonflies.
