I counted 10 genuine Rembrandts in the Mauritshuis, The Hague. This great group portrait was Rembrandt's first really important commission after he had settled in Amsterdam.

Thanks for all your kind comments and faves on the photo's of 35 superb paintings from the Mr. and Mrs. Edward William Carter Collection, that I was able to shoot in the Los Angeles County Museum, as updated recently.

I hope that the Mauritshuis will give me an opportunity to show you the upcoming weeks another 35 paintings, this time my top 35 art treasures from the collection of the Royal Cabinet of Paintings “Mauritshuis” in The Hague.
