Arch Rock, Joshua Tree NP - a photo on Flickriver

            
Apparently it's thunderstorm season in the desert of southern California.   I had some great skies with a huge dynamic range as there were black clouds on the horizon to the north and the sun peaking through the clouds to the southeast.   This may have been one of the best shots of the trip as all the clouds magically dried up for every sunrise and sunset i shot.   Gotta love it when you can get a great shot during the daytime!!
