20th Annual Music Box Steps Day - a photo on Flickriver

            The 20th Annual Music Box Steps Day was celebrated yesterday at Laurel & Hardy Park, the fun film festival brought the community together with food, entertainment, music & activities for the whole family. The free event was organized by the Silver Lake Improvement Association (SLIA) with support from the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council (SLNC), the 4th and 13th City Council Districts, local businesses and residents.

Music Box Steps Day is named for the famed film site where Laurel & Hardy attempt to deliver a piano to a hilltop house; the film won an Oscar in 1932 fir best short comedy.   Laurel & Hardy look-a-likes Paul Reid and Tuba Heatherton (pictured here with magician Reno Goodale) were a major attraction at the event.
