3551 Meier Street, Gregory Ain 1948

            Architect Gregory Ain designed the Modernist style house in 1948 as part of the Mar Vista housing tract.   By rotating the floor plan in different directions, Ain created a sense of variation between the houses. Landscape architect Garrett Eckbo planted trees from five continents throughout the neighborhood to create a park-like setting.
