The Photographer - a photo on Flickriver

The Photographer

             The photographer is Ryan Fellers.  He started out doing computer renderings for prospective buildings.  Has added photography and animation among other skills to his repertoire along the way.
 
He did some really cool stuff on this project.  He built a rendered model of the building and the city, so that when a prospective buyer was contemplating purchasing a unit:  they could 'walk' through the unit and experience not only the interior, but the views to the exterior as well.
 
His rendering work of spaces during the design phase of the project were so photo realistic that they were used as guides to stage photographs when the project was complete.  When the final images of the actual space were done - the similarities and the comparability to the design images is remarkable.
 
This portrait was taken during the final stages of construction.  He was on site for a few days.  It was a really cool experience to watch a professional photographer work.  From staging the image, to his equipment set up, to taking multiple exposures and layering them together in Lightroom.  It was captivating.  He was really nice, really cool and had a lot of patience with any requests or questions along the way.
 
What I really wanted to do was to just follow him around for the entire three days he was there instead of just popping in periodically for a few minutes.  
 
When it comes down to it, I can watch people work all day.
