Tropical Kingbird.

            Another photograph from the Buenos Aires reserve known as Costanera Sur.

As is the norm for these birds they like to find a high perch from which to keep an eye out for prey. Often this is taken on the wing so it makes sense that they perch up high. 

These birds are common throughout most of south and Central America. In fact they breed all the way from Arizona all of the way south to Argentina. Those at the northern and southern extremities of this range migrate.
