Gray Whale Calf, deceased, seen here 10 May 2014, on Morro Strand State Beach just north of Morro Rock, at the Morro Bay High School - Clositers City Park boundary, at the tide line.
This Gray Whale calf was attacked, killed, and partially eaten by Orcas, Killer Whales, 07 May 2014, in Morro bay, CA. One can see marks in the whale’s hide from the Orcas’ teeth. Hundreds of teeth scars can be seen, many on the tail and rear sections of the whale. Orcas like to eat the tender parts of the whale like lips, face, eyes, etc. first.
