Roswell - a photo on Flickriver

Roswell

            Monday was a crazy chase in New Mexico that ended in unreal fashion. This is a 27-image panorama of this insane sunset on the backside of a dying supercell southeast of Roswell, New Mexico last night. The mammatus was mind-blowing, and when I suggested to Sandra and Sarah that the sunset might be awesome once the red shows up in those clouds...I had no idea it would look this amazing.

I had two cameras running wide-angle time-lapses, so with my 5D4 I did 27 images using a 50mm lens...so this image I think is about 19,000 pixels wide! Need to print this one.

Was a spectacular way to end our chase tour!
