There Goes The Neighborhood - a photo on Flickriver

I don't know what the plan is next door...parking lot is my guess...but a few trees lost their lives this week. 

A cartoonish image comes to my mind of my dog Yogi chasing the neighbor's cat through the yard and up the hill into the front yard, where other neighbors had gathered around a bonfire. The cat went straight through the group and just barely skirted the fire, with Yogi close behind. All I could yell was "grab the cat" immediately followed by "grab the dog" but it happened too fast for anyone to react. Back down behind the house they went and into the woods you see in this picture where the cat climbed one of these trees thus ending the chase.
