20221222 Island Scootering

            Scooter would be our transportation on the island. The young lady working at the scooter shop looked at me funny after I told her I have ridden motorcycles but don't know how to ride a scooter. I had a few crash lessons then the young lady from the scooter shop led us to our hotel. She offered to carry my backpack in her scooter. I was really clumsy on the scooter. She had to help me park the scooter upon arrival.

The island is known for sea turtles sightings. Sis took me to a place she saw turtles during her last visit. Google Maps led us to someone's backyard. A man was chilling on the side, asking what we were looking for. We told him sea turtles. He went "Oh, you can see them from here." then led us back to the backyard facing the ocean. He pointed out "There's one, there's another one." It took me a while to see them. But once I spot a turtle, it's easier to see others.
