Hell, it's been a long time since I had posted here anything non-portraiture...

But, in the second half of August, I have many reportages to publish on my Facebook fanpage. As I don't post 100+ photos per once on Flickr, I have to post something different.

This is my favourite picture I made at 2nd round of Białystok Automotive Championships 2019 (pol.: Samochodowe Mistrzostwa Białegostoku) at local racing circuit. The day was rainy and shooting in such conditions was a really big challenge, both for me and my camera (formally, it's not waterproof!). But I think we both passed the exam.

This is a local-level event (but there are also drivers from the other parts of Poland, and even from Lithuania), so most of the cars look like that: rather the passanger cars with some adjustments and tuning than real rally cars (of course, there are also some Subaru Imprezas and Mitsubishi Lancers, but these are a minority). It doesn't mean the emotions are lesser. The drivers have fun, but they also compete and fight for the prizes. I guess fun and competition are two sides of the same sport coin...
