Auf der Little Five Tour geht es um die kleinen Wüstenbewohner - Schlangen, Spinnen, Chamäleons, Käfer - und Geckos. Dieser kleine Kerl lebt tagsüber eigentlich unter dem Sand, da ist es kühler. Einmal an der Oberfläche sieht man gut die "Schimmhäute" an den Füßen. Der Gecko wird daher auch Schwimmfußgecko genannt. Sie dienen aber eher der Fortbewegung auf und unter dem Sand. Von der Seite betrachtet wirkt es fast so, als würde das Tier grinsen.

Die Geckos sind nachaktiv und reflektieren UV-Licht. Wenn man nachts also mit einer UV-Lampe durch die Wüste läuft, bekommt man Einiges zu sehen ...

The Little Five Tour is all about the little desert dwellers - snakes, spiders, chameleons, beetles - and geckos. This little guy actually lives under the sand during the day, it's cooler there. Once on the surface, you can easily see the "moldy skins" on its feet. The gecko is therefore also called swimming foot gecko. But they rather serve the locomotion on and under the sand. Viewed from the side, it almost looks like the animal is grinning.

The geckos are nocturnal and reflect UV light. So if you walk through the desert at night with a UV lamp, you get to see quite a bit ...
