Los Jardines Victoria son únicos en las Islas Canarias. Fueron construidos por el artista francés Adolph Coquet en el siglo XIX dándole un hermoso estilo ecléctico.

Este lugar sorprende a todo aquel que lo visita gracias al orden y el esmero con lo que está todo colocado. El jardín va formando un montículo escalonado cuenta con unas fuentes intermitentes preciosas y multitud de flores de todos los colores…, A lo alto de dicho montículo obtendremos una vista preciosa del casco antiguo de La Orotava.

Estos jardines fueron construidos en un principio como mausoleo para Diego de Pinte, Marqués de la Quinta Roja, ya que el obispado le negaba la sepultura cristiana, pero finalmente dicha sepultura fue aprobada y no fue enterrado en ellos, por lo que los Jardines Victoria están vacíos de restos. Victoria Gardens are unique in the Canary Islands. They were built by the French artist Adolph Coquet in the nineteenth century, giving it a beautiful eclectic style.

This place surprises everyone who visits thanks to the order and the care with which everything is placed. The garden is forming a stepped mound intermittent has beautiful fountains and lots of flowers of all colors ... At the top of the mound will get a lovely view of the old town of La Orotava.

These gardens were built originally as a mausoleum for Diego de Paint, Marquis de la Quinta Roja, as the bishop denied Christian burial, but eventually that burial was approved and was not buried in them, so the Victoria Gardens are remains empty. (Source: www.visitacanarias.com).
