This building’s history is a lot more complicated than I originally thought.

· August 1925 – Opened as Bethard Auto Company. They sold Dodge Brothers cars and Graham Trucks.

· July 1927 – Bethard stops selling Dodge Brothers, begins selling Paige automobiles (aka Graham-Paige).

· September 1927 – Koons Cadillac leases space in the building to sell Cadillacs and LaSalles.

· 1928 – Auto Refinishing Company opens in space on the third floor.

· April 1930 – J. Allan Campbell takes over the building selling Chrysler and Plymouth.

· March 1931 – J. Allan Campbell moves out (they move to the 400 block of East Main Street)

· May 1932 – Hudson Essex Sales Company is the tenant.

· 1935 – Miller Dairy opens a store in the front of the building

· November 1936 – Now home to Irwin Chevrolet

· June 1937 – Chevrolet dealership renamed to County Motors Co.

· 1939 – Miller Dairy closes (moves to new building across the street, which is now a funeral home).

· 1940 – Coca-Cola Bottling takes over the building.

· 1995 – Coca-Cola Bottling moves out of the building.

· 1996 – Bader Mechanical moves in.
