"One Thousand and One Nights" - a photo on Flickriver

This microscale model was completed in early 2018 and has already been shown at various exhibitions in Germany. After more than half a year, here are finally the corresponding photos and the overdue release.

The use of a single color (white) made the project a true and great challenge. In addition, a mixture of new, used, scratched and very old yellowed parts should give the mosque the typical look of an architectural structure.

Though the model is reminiscent of the Taj Mahal at first glance, it is ultimately not a replica of the world-famous Indian mausoleum.
I think the differences will quickly be noticed on closer inspection.

Btw.: Maybe one or the other is familiar with the construction of the dome?! ;-)
