028 - It's over

This one won’t be for the ones that dislike editing. Well.. Tough luck. I needed to do this scene and it wasn’t possible with traditional means. And yes, this is the third time I’m reusing the backdrop. No worries, tomorrow’s scene will have a different one ;)

I chose to dismantle the LEGO minifig Voldemort mid-air instead of having him torn apart from the inside by light. That felt like it was more true to the medium than some fake Photoshop-based effect.

At least the Basilisk is dead. I chose the eye-piece because its available in both red and sand green, allowing me to show the eyes that Fawkes tore apart. Oh, why is he not in the scene? Well.. He was hard to fit in, thats all...

This series is obviously heavily inspired by my friend Marcel who did the inspirational undertaking of doing a series of daily builds covering Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone last month. Please follow him as his work is amazing and deserves way more views than it currently has!
